Animal Planet is one of my fav channel now.  I have no idea how weird this nature is until I learn so much from Animal Planet's special programs of animals.  Just last night I watched a program that talk about weird animal behaviors.  I remembered a few to share:

1. When Praying Menthis mate, the female literally bites off the male's head during courtship as the male continues without its HEAD.  Until it finally finishes, it will fall and die.

2. When a male mouse is hit by its hormone, it will go around and mate with female mice one after another until it's energy is used up.  During this whole process the male wouldn't eat and sleep.  It finally dies of fatique and hunger.  The nature treat it as a benefit since the male mouse won't fight with the new borns with food. 

3.  A male hamster will act as a midwife to its mate during child labor.  The catch is to mate again in the next 3 hours after labor to conceive again.

4.  Some fish normally goes under gender change.  I think it happens when there is no more males around.  The female will take a day or two to tranform into a male and mate with other females.

There is more...they show a lot of gross stuff but it's still pretty interesting to watch...I'll write more next time. 

Oh and I bought a Gucci handbag over the weekend.  It didn't cost me a fortune, it was onsale and cost about 380 bucks.  I felt bad for spending so much money on this.  But there is no going back.  I will use it all the time to make it worth while. 

To answer Youtea's question, some handbags go up in value because they are made out of authentic leather.  I think I only know that LV and Dior go up in value, especially LV.  Someone told me that leather's cost can go up just like gold and silver, so those designer handbags would go up too.  I know it sucks.  I am happy with the Gucci one.  I don't need a LV, for now. 

No more Harry Potter!!!  Yes!!!!

What Harry Potter, you may ask.  My old driver's license has a photo that I took when I was 17.  I had short hair, big glasses, and my young looking skin.  Everyone said I look like Harry Potter. 

When ever I go to a place where they need to see my ID, people can't recognize me from my ID because I have long hair and I look more girly now.  I finally waited for my DL to expire this year.  I woke up early in the morning and put on makeup and took a new pictures at DMV.  hahhaa...no more Harry Potter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh oh,  I am starting to fall into the trap of buying luxury, trendy stuff now. 

I was at my band leader's wedding at LA last weekend and I forgot to bring my small hangbag.  I tried looking at a small department store and didn't buy anything.  I ended up buying something at Burlington's Coat Factory for about 14 bucks.  It's not a bad bag.  But it's like for teenagers.  I feel like with my age and career status now I should buy a nice leather bag that suits me a little better. 

My female coworkers (a lot of them are trendy pretty ladies) encourage me to join their club of designer jeans and fashions....aiya...I feel pressured.  But one thing about nice bag (such as a LV bag) is that it goes up in value.  I never knew that.  So now, I may want to invest into a LV handbag and see how that goes...since i don't like anything i see in the stores.  I just want a nice classic leather evening bag (too many weddings these days).  I'll see what happens when I go shopping with my coworkers on friday.....meow~!!!!
